Three traditional mask dances from Madura, Cirebon and Yogyakarta.
Within this contemporary performance, four celebrated Indonesian dancers communicate about their passion and fascination for masked dance and it’s ancient tradition. A reveiling performance in which movement and text alternate. Personal histories of the dancers will be exposed. Intruiging dance and movement examples.
